Wife

1. I think the thesis is implied in the writing and I think the author is poking fun at how much the wife does and who wouldnt want a wife if they did this much. Showing all the work the wife has to do around the house and all of her wife duties.

2. The effect of the saying " I want a wife" is that it like beats into your head that wives do all this stuff and who wouldnt want one.

3. Brady doesnt actually want a wife like this but she is poking fun at like what men think a perfect wife is and listing all duties and desires and things they are responiable for in the household and family with the husband and kids. No this ideal wife doesnt exist because it would be impossiable to all this stuff.

4. Brady charcterizes the wife in listing things or responbiles in several paragraphs and she is over dramizing the whole thing to show how some wives are slaves to their husbands and to bring attention to wives all over and say look how much we are doing for them they should treat us with alot more respect and help with the duties around the house so you and our wife can relax together.

5. Dear Judy Brady,
I'm writing in respone to your "Why I Want a Wife" paper that you wrote was very intresting and brought up a good topic. You did a fanstic job of getting your point across about how much a wife does for her husband and family even though the point of your message is implied in the writing most people that read this paper get it. The repeating of saying why I want a wife was annoying but effective at the same time it kinda was like that mean't this is want a wife does. Men who read this and treat their wives like slaves would see your point and hopefully treat their wives way better than they have before.
Sincerely,
Brandon Carver

James Thurber

I like the one titled the little girl and the wolf this story made fun of the classic little red riding hood. Because the little girl was traveling to her grand mother’s house with a food basket just like in little red riding hood. The most surprising part to this story was the ending when the little girl pulled out an automatic and shot the wolf died I think it was funny how it ended and the moral was “It is not so easy to fool little girls nowadays as it used to be” which is funny and that’s why I liked this one the best.
My second favorite was The Princess And The Tin Box; A Fable For Our Time this was also a very funny fairy tale and the reason I liked this one was because it shows that human nature can be tricky and he lead us down a path which was wrong and because the irony of the story we all thought that the princess was going to pick the tin box but she picked the most expensive item instead that why its funny. The moral was “All those who thought the princess was going to select the tin box filled with worthless stones instead of one of the other gifts will kindly stay after class and write one hundred times on the blackboard "I would rather have a hunk of aluminum silicate than a diamond necklace."’ Which is funny because we all thought that was going to happen until he tricked us at the ending.

Love Sonnet

Lover's day is here hearts are glowing
From their paramour's chocolates and gift
The weather is very cold and snowing
Hot coca warms, keeps the heart a drift
Cuddling while watching the notebook
I love you whispered out soundlessly
Responed with a soft kiss and cookbook
We talked and kissed so boundlessly
She wrapped around me with a clasped
Her heart beating very

Little Red Story

Once upon a time,
In a land far away from ours
There lived a grandma and her sweet grand daughter
But there was a deep dark forrest between there houses

One day Little red was going to take a trip to her grandma's
But before she has got there a Wolf had a great idea
What if he dressed up as Little red so he did
He arrived at the grandmas house and Brutaly tore her apart

As he was doing that little red walked in
She transformed into a werewolf and ate the wolf eating her grandma
Little red was happy to save her grandmother and her grandma made her cookies
and they lived happily ever after.

Reflections

The first essay was a touching one about baseball. I dont play the sport but I could relate to the terms and knowledge of it. the essay gave off the main idea quickly which was to live in the moment and dont get caught up in planning for your future.

The second essay was not as direct as the first one this one was titled The Power of Games.  This essay was well written and inspiring it makes you want to go pick up a deck of cards and start playing. The writer talks about how stressful and depressing life is and then explains how this simple card game gave her and her husband fun and time to smile and just be happy.

The third essay was one that I can relate to the most out of all three so far because it was about family and traditions they have as a family. The essay was titled Pots and Pans but the essay didnt have much to do with the pots and pans was just one of the tradition they talked about wth their family. Family means the most to this writer and it also means the most to me.

    The final essay

Story of pictionary

BAM!!! All of a sudden the alarm in the prison had sounded and the luminance of the red flashing light warned everybody that there was a jailbreak. The warden check the vacuum jails cells and was frightened that the colossus prisoner has escaped from his jail. They set out to catch prisoners while listening to their favorite ballad. They suddenly cam across a deuce of their prisoners because they couldn’t get far with broken tibia’s, but there still were a lot of prisoners on the run the warden told me “to break out the big artillery” so I went into the gun storage area and picked up this large contraption its time to get down to business said the brawny guard next to me I response with a excruciation grunt. We  found our colossus prisoner he was foamy at the mouth so we decided to assassinate with the beak of a bird.

action words

Suddenly from the distance a sound came out of no where I asked myself what it could be. I looked around the classroom and I saw someone tapping their foot the repeated sound drove me crazy with in 10 seconds I was going to get up flip my desk and tell him to stop doing that Ludacris behavior. After he stopped tapping my ears thanked me and they were relieved from that annoying sound that nobody likes to hear.
BOOM! The slap came out of no where I asked why did I receive such a punishment from a simple joke? My intentions were oh so clear but she took it the wrong way and gave me a sudden surprise my face red from the hit and my friends all shouting “ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh” as loud as they can to make sure that everybody seen that I just got slapped was outrageous then I settled down and apologized for making a outlandish comment.

Once upon a time under the green Christmas tree with lights so brightly shining out of no where a tiny animal moved about it was a tiny mouse the mouse shuffled through some of the presents and came across a very squishy bosu ball. The mouse flew through the air landing onto the kitchen table. The mouse not knowing how he got there was interested in the cold maple wood of the table and some left over crumbs for the huge Christmas feast. The mouse was so happy to be eating anything at all that when he seen the cheese cubes were left out he needed a way to get onto the kitchen counters but how he told to himself. The mouse had a profound idea that if he  launch himself off of the bosu ball again but how will I get down.  If only I were an eagle, thought the mouse.  He looked around, searching for any kind of rope or ramp that he could slide down.  Suddenly he spotted a towel that was hanging from the sink counter that traveled all the way to the floor.  The mouse felt so exuberant, having found a way down to the floor.  He bounded over to the kitchen sink, only to find out that the only way to the towel was to travel through the sink.  There was only one problem.  The sink was full of water and he couldn’t swim. suddenly kabooom!!!! The mouse activated the disposal  and tried to franticly swim away from the whirlpool that was created in the sink.  At last the mouse survived the almost devastating event, and was safely in the empty sink.
After the mouse’s near death experience with the sink, he decided that to reassure he didn’t ever get stuck in the sink again, he was going to become a sand cowboy. He only had one problem, how he was going to break the news to his little mouse family.  As the mouse climbed down off the sink, he stated to imagine ways he could tell his family. Before he knew it, he arrived at his mouse crib. Slamming the door open, the mouse yelled “Im going to be a sand cowboy!”. His kids responded, “Dad! You’re going to ball so hard, mother Fu* ****s are goin to find you!” The dad mouse responded with”that shit crayyy”
Suddenly a Spanish mouse from Spain burst through the door killing all the mice with a pineapple. The families relative came to the house to help clean up when they got killed
