The reviewer of the watchmen movie strongly disliked that film. He thought the movie was very lenghtly and dragged on for far to long. He thought there were far to many characters which made it impossiable to focus on one main story line. he felt that the film attempt at polictal satire was horriable and left understanded. He quoted his opinion "who is buff, buck naked, and blue, like a porn star left overnight in a meat locker"
The reviewer of syriana was greatly intrested in the oil industry. Also he stated that this was a "reform and revenge, bribery and betrayal industry". I think this reviewer attempt to make the movie come to life by doing this project is a helpful idea. He thought the film had a easy story line to follow with well known actors to help you follow it. His final opinons on the movie were "I think "Syriana" is a great film. I am unable to make my reasons clear without resorting to meaningless generalizations"
The reviwer of When Harry Meets Scary thought the film was very slugish and slow. This film is very scary and has a scene of a died cat hanging in a alley. He thought that was bad but it gets scary "Later, they're chased through the Forbidden Forest by an army of giant spiders." He thinks that this movie is vey scary but a very good so its a must see.

Turning Ten
Billy is talking about growing up and how when we were kids that we could do anything because we believed in our minds but as you grow older that it fades away and you have to become more serious about stuff. He captures his childhood by describing specific events such as "I could make myself invisibleby drinking a glass of milk a certain way." then the process of growing up he describes as sad and dark such as "This is the beginning of sadness, It seems only yesterday I used to believe
there was nothing under my skin but light. If you cut me I could shine. But now when I fall upon the sidewalks of life,I skin my knees. I bleed." this fits into my own life because growing up you have to worry about stuff that as kids you never had to care about like jobs money and bills. I feel the same sadness that he is desbring because as a kid i could go out for hours on end and imagine stuff but now i have work for hours on end.

Wife
1. I think the thesis is implied in the writing and I think the author is poking fun at how much the wife does and who wouldnt want a wife if they did this much. Showing all the work the wife has to do around the house and all of her wife duties.
2. The effect of the saying " I want a wife" is that it like beats into your head that wives do all this stuff and who wouldnt want one.
3. Brady doesnt actually want a wife like this but she is poking fun at like what men think a perfect wife is and listing all duties and desires and things they are responiable for in the household and family with the husband and kids. No this ideal wife doesnt exist because it would be impossiable to all this stuff.
4. Brady charcterizes the wife in listing things or responbiles in several paragraphs and she is over dramizing the whole thing to show how some wives are slaves to their husbands and to bring attention to wives all over and say look how much we are doing for them they should treat us with alot more respect and help with the duties around the house so you and our wife can relax together.
5. Dear Judy Brady,
I'm writing in respone to your "Why I Want a Wife" paper that you wrote was very intresting and brought up a good topic. You did a fanstic job of getting your point across about how much a wife does for her husband and family even though the point of your message is implied in the writing most people that read this paper get it. The repeating of saying why I want a wife was annoying but effective at the same time it kinda was like that mean't this is want a wife does. Men who read this and treat their wives like slaves would see your point and hopefully treat their wives way better than they have before.
Sincerely,
Brandon Carver

James Thurber
I like the one titled the little girl and the wolf this story made fun of the classic little red riding hood. Because the little girl was traveling to her grand mother’s house with a food basket just like in little red riding hood. The most surprising part to this story was the ending when the little girl pulled out an automatic and shot the wolf died I think it was funny how it ended and the moral was “It is not so easy to fool little girls nowadays as it used to be” which is funny and that’s why I liked this one the best.
My second favorite was The Princess And The Tin Box; A Fable For Our Time this was also a very funny fairy tale and the reason I liked this one was because it shows that human nature can be tricky and he lead us down a path which was wrong and because the irony of the story we all thought that the princess was going to pick the tin box but she picked the most expensive item instead that why its funny. The moral was “All those who thought the princess was going to select the tin box filled with worthless stones instead of one of the other gifts will kindly stay after class and write one hundred times on the blackboard "I would rather have a hunk of aluminum silicate than a diamond necklace."’ Which is funny because we all thought that was going to happen until he tricked us at the ending.
